UTAH JAZZ

Well game one went in favor of the Lakers but fear not my disheartened jazz fans, game two is on the way to bring high energy and punishing defence right? I think that is what we all want to see out there from our troops. Unfortunately I am fearful of what might actually become of our Utah jazz. With out our guys pulling out all the stops and playing with reckless abandon, I am not sure we have a snowballs chance in hell. We need our bigs to bring down the hammer and stop easy buckets in the lane, also our guards have got to find a way to force three point shots on the perimeter. I know that sounds crazy given the lakers range but a long shot is much harder to make than a layup right. So boozer show me that enthusiasm you have, don't just scream to the heavens for that power dunk you just had. Give me more, give me a gladiator who fears nothing, give me some DEFENCE....Make them pay for driving the lane. I don't care if you foul out in the third just make the lakers think twice about that dunk they think they can pull off. For this is the playoffs this is the time to show us and yourself what you are made of. This is the run for the Jazz. I think next year does not exist for us. Contracts are up and some of the team may look for greener grass elsewhere. So why not now. Don't think of next season because maybe it does not even show up. Play now, right now, forget game one and just move on. Now the rest of us AK, Brewer, and Milsap give those yellow jersey wearin punks hell.

Ice fishings greatest hits

Most of the time when winter roles around everything tends to slow down and people seek shelter to get in out of the cold. I guess you could say people who are normal that is. On the other hand their are the strange or better yet weird few who venture out to see what the world has to offer on those bitter cold winter days in the Rockies. As we have come to find out there is plenty of room on frozen lakes just waiting to be filled up with those of us who dare to be stupid. But as you can see we do alright walking out on to frozen water just to wet a line and hook a few trout. I thought it might be a good idea to share some photos of our experiences so folks who don't get the chance to give ice fishing a try might just change their minds. Ice fishing as you can imagine is a little different from the lazy summer days wading through a stream or even hanging out by the local pond in hopes of landing a nice one for a little excitement before cracking a cold one. In this case you are the cold one waiting as patiently as passable for some sort of movement on the rod tip rather then the wind that is howling across the frozen tundra bouncing your pole around so much that every move is suspect. But it's not just ice, wind and snow also you can look forward to warm sunshine BIG trout and not to be forgotten a few fish tales that can rival the best of them.I am almost looking forward to next season for a few more trips. I am hoping to add a few more fishing trips to my blog from the summer when ice rods get packed away and the fly rod sees the light of day. If I am lucky maybe I can catch a few like these to post.

new start

For all of you who don't know I am a Bronco fan and have been for quit awhile now. So I thought I would talk about Jay boy going to the bears. So long fair well and good riddance crying little girl. So they tried to replace you boohoo cry me a river Jay! Yes, you are good and yes, you can get the ball down field in a hurry but please man... step up and take it on the chin. All that you have shown me lately is you have no heart. Cutler you should have gone to camp and made all of them eat their own words then get their heads out!!!! But no, you just turned up your nose and thought nothing of your fans and teammates.

Out with the old in with the new, Kyle Orton. If he has heart and some grit then welcome Kyle. The Broncos also get two number one picks and they better do something right and get some DEFENSE!
